Our Placement Schools
At NPCAT, we are proud to offer one of the largest and most diverse networks of Catholic schools in the North of England.
The Trust is made up of 38 academies across Teesside, North Yorkshire, and the City of York including 32 primary schools and 6 secondary schools.
This breadth of provision means our trainee teachers experience a rich variety of school contexts. From small village primaries to large urban academies, every placement offers the chance to see great teaching in action and to develop the skills needed to thrive in different learning environments.
We take care to match trainees with placements close to home wherever possible, while also ensuring a balance of experiences across the phases and settings you will encounter. This approach helps to build both confidence and versatility, preparing you to succeed in your future teaching career.
