What do our trainees say ?
βAs soon as I went to my first training day, I knew I had made the right decision about where I completed my teacher training. What drew me was the wraparound support I saw previous students getting, from mentors to the course leaders. This, matched with the teamβs relationships with local primary schools, meant I felt I would have the best experience at my placements.ββJT
βI retrained as a secondary teacher after 20 years as a journalist. It was a huge step, both professionally and personally, and I couldnβt have asked for a more welcoming environment. The programme has the care of the individual trainee at its heart, and while it fosters real independence in the classroom, there is also a fantastic network of support for those inevitable moments of crisis. The team did the seemingly impossible β they proved I wasnβt too old to go back to school!ββ SJ
