Today we honour Blessed Nicholas Postgate, a humble Yorkshire priest and martyr, who faithfully served the Catholic faithful in secret during the penal times in England. Even in his old age, Fr Postgate risked everything to bring the sacraments to those in need - and was executed in 1679 for his steadfast love of Christ and His Church.
May his courage and pastoral charity inspire us to live our faith boldly, love selflessly and stand firm in truth. 🕊️

St Alphonsus reminds us that mercy and compassion are at the heart of our faith. He taught that no soul is beyond God’s love and encouraged a life of prayer, confession and charity.
