Our exciting trip to Paris is almost here, and we can’t wait to explore this incredible city with our pupils! With temperatures forecast to be around 30°C every day, we’re looking forward to plenty of sunshine.
A reminder for all parents and pupils: Please ensure your child packs: 💧 A refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. 🧴 Sunscreen (preferably SPF 30 or higher) to protect against the strong sunshine. 🧢 A sun hat or cap is also highly recommended.
Comfortable walking shoes and lightweight clothing will help everyone enjoy the trip as we’ll be out exploring some of Paris’ most famous landmarks.
We’re looking forward to making some amazing memories together. Not long to go!
Mrs Wild’s Year 8 English class had a fantastic time yesterday creating their very own courtroom.
Noah played the role of judge superbly, while both the prosecution and defence presented thoughtful, well-reasoned arguments throughout the trial. In the end, it was left to the jury to carefully consider all the evidence before delivering their verdict.
A quick shoutout to Andiswa who made a very good point… “Frankenstein should have been given death by electric chair due to him using electricity in a negative way to bring the Creation into the world”⚡️
A brilliant lesson full of confidence, critical thinking, teamwork and persuasive speaking skills. Well done, Year 8!
