Showing incredible determination to succeed, Shaniya consistently worked above and beyond, both in school and at home, taking advantage of every opportunity to push her learning further.

Her efforts resulted in top-tier achievements, including a Grade 9 in English Literature alongside Grade 8s in English Language, Religious Education and Science.

Shaniya said: “Proving that hard work truly pays off, I am deeply grateful to my teachers for their unwavering support.

“Reaching my goal of a Grade 9 was a test of perseverance, but staying determined made all the difference. I now look forward to studying A-Levels in Psychology, Biology and Chemistry.

A former pupil at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Grangetown, Bailey arrived at St Peter’s with strong foundations for learning that he built upon throughout his secondary journey.

Known for his refusal to give up and his drive to constantly refine his academic abilities, Bailey consistently put in the work at home to ensure he reached his full potential.

Bailey said: “I am proud of my results today. They have provided a fantastic stepping-stone, and I am now looking forward to studying Electrical Engineering.”

Another former St Mary’s Catholic Primary School pupil, Wisdom has excelled throughout his time at St Peter’s, showing natural academic gifts alongside his athletic talents.

His impressive GCSE results include a Grade 9 in Religious Education, a Grade 8 in English Literature and Grade 7s in English Language, Geography, Science and Mathematics.

Wisdom said: “Achieving these results is a hugely proud moment for me.
