Today, let us join together to remember and pray for all the faithful departed, especially those from our own school communities, families and friends who have returned to God.
We take comfort in the promise of eternal life and the bond of love that unites us through Christ. May God grant peace and comfort to all who are grieving and may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

🔥 Called by Christ. Sent out in faith. Faithful to the end.
Today we celebrate the feast of St Simon and St Jude, Apostles, two of the Twelve chosen by Jesus to follow Him and proclaim the Good News.
Though we know little about their lives, their witness reminds us that every disciple has a place in Christ’s mission. They answered His call, remained faithful and gave their lives in service of the Gospel.
Their example encourages us to ask: How is Christ calling me to be His witness today?
May Saints Simon and Jude inspire us to be courageous in our faith, generous in our service and faithful in sharing the hope of the Gospel with others.
🙏 Saints Simon and Jude, pray for us, that we may have the courage to follow Christ and proclaim His love.

A quick reminder for parents and carers of Year 6 pupils: the deadline to submit applications for Year 7 secondary school places (September 2027 entry) is Saturday, 31st October 2026.
To make sure your application is counted, please ensure you have completed both steps:
1️⃣ Submitted your application via your local authority portal.
2️⃣ Handed in your Supplementary Information Form (SIF) along with your child’s Baptism Certificate directly to the school office (if applying under faith criteria).
Late applications can severely impact your chance of securing a place, so please don't delay!
