Public Consultation on behalf of the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust regarding School Admissions Policies for 2027/28

Proposal

The Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust is consulting the public regarding the admissions policies for all 38 schools in the trust.

Part 1 – proposing changes to the oversubscription criteria, and other related definitions, for St Francis Xavier School in Richmond, North Yorkshire (click here for details).

Part 2 – removing the admission of additional pupils in Year 10, proposing changes to the oversubscription criteria, and other related definitions, for All Saints Catholic School in York (main 11-16 school and sixth form –  click here for details).

Part 3 – consulting on the admissions policies for all other schools. There are no significant proposed changes to the policies for these schools, but we are consulting in line with the stipulation in the School Admissions Code that every admissions policy should go to public consultation at least once every 7 years.
