The Admissions Scheme applies to all Nicholas Postgate schools within Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland, Stockton-on-Tees and North Yorkshire. These schools are:

Middlesbrough

Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School, Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, St Alphonsus’ Catholic Primary School, St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School, St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School, St Clare’s Catholic Primary School, St Edward’s Catholic Primary School, St Gerard’s Catholic Primary School, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, St Pius X Catholic Primary, School, St Thomas More Catholic Primary School, Trinity Catholic College.

The changes to the scheme are as follows: –

– Changes to the conditions for considering late applications by all schools

– Changes to the oversubscription criteria for all schools including:

Up to 10% allocation of places for pupils with aptitude for Modern Foreign Languages at Sacred Heart Secondary School in Redcar and Cleveland.

Up to 10% allocation of places for pupils with aptitude for Visual Arts at St Patrick’s Catholic College in Stockton-on-Tees

Up to 10% allocation of places for pupils with aptitude for Performing Arts at St Peter’s Catholic College in Redcar and Cleveland

Up to 10% allocation of places for pupils with aptitude for Sport at Trinity Catholic College in Middlesbrough

– An increase in PAN at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School (Middlesbrough), St Margaret Clitherow’s Catholic Primary School (Redcar and Cleveland), St Patrick’s Catholic College (Stockton-on-Tees), St Peter’s Catholic College (Redcar and Cleveland)

Please note that there are no changes to the parish boundaries that determine admissions zones for Catholic primary schools.
